This loom was a Craig’s list find. It is about ten years old and is in good shape. I did a lot of cleanup, replaced the bungy cords on the beater, and turned a couple of parts the right way around! Just started my first project and am already convinced this loom is a joy

A scarf ring is the perfect accessory for a hand woven scarf! This one from Bayou Bend Studio. This is one of the prettiest I have seen. I like wearing it so that the intricate center shows!

A recent family reunion inspired me to start a series of scarves for Mark’s female cousins. Here are scarves 1 and 2. 3 and 4 are on the looms!
I’ve been waiting to post this until Mark’s cousin, Linda, received the scarf. This is the second in my ‘cousin series’ inspired by a recent family reunion. This was woven on a rigid heddle loom, 8 dent reed, pickup stick lace pattern.
Rigid heddle, 10 dent reed. Whisper Lace yarn: cloudy warp, mallow weft. Finished dimensions: 84 inches long and six inches wide.
